Johari Rotana Hotel is currently hiring for Chief Accountant to join their working environment in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Johari Rotana is the luxury hotel based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
As selected candidate you will be required to ensure smooth financial operations such as preparing of financial reports and overseeing internal financial control
Duties and Responsibilities
Reviewing and verifying the general Cashier reports and income journal vouchers.
Overseeing supplier payments ensuring all supporting documents such as invoices and LPOs are kept in order.
Checking payroll reports and related documents at the end of the month
Preparing general ledger reconciliations and tracking contract renewals.
Handling standard and adjustment journal entries at end of the month
Analyzing general ledger accounts and monitoring expenses
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting reports and tasks.
Qualification
Degree in accounting, finance or hotel management.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting position especially in Hotel setting
Good in Microsoft packages and other computer softwares such as Opera, Micros and SUN System
Fluent in English language
Good communication skills
