The organization provides treatment of diseases such as fistula for various women across Tanzania. This organization is based at Kivulini Maternity Centre in Arusha, Tanzania.
Maternity Africa is currently hiring for Cook to join their working environment in Arusha, Tanzania. As selected candidate you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to dietary needs and hygiene
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing and serving meals based on daily menus and dietary restrictions
Ensuring all meals are cooked safely and served on time at the right temperature.
Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and food safety in the kitchen at all times.
Supporting catering needs during hospital events and any special occasion
Qualification
Secondary Education certificate
Certificate in Food Preparation or Handling
Three years of working experience preferably in hospitals, schools or kitchen
Skilled in preparing traditional Tanzanian meals
Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Good communication skills
