The Organization is currently hiring for Driver to join their working environment in Mwanza, Tanzania. As selected candidate you will provide reliable and safe transportation of staff and other materials within and outside Mwanza region
Duties and Responsibilities
Driving staff to meetings, field visits and events within project regions.
Ensuring you are punctual at all times.
Maintaining vehicles and ensuring its cleanliness.
Performing routine vehicle checks such as oil, water and tires
Following road safety laws and Americares policies.
Keeping accurate logs of mileage, fuel use and trip schedules.
Assisting with loading and unloading of project materials.
Reporting about any accident or incidents immediately
Supporting vehicle insurance renewals and registration updates.
Qualification
Valid driving license Class C Tanzanian with a clean record.
Form IV secondary education certificate.
5+ years as professional driver
Experience with manual transmission and 4×4 vehicles.
Extra certificates such as VIP Driver, Motor Vehicle Mechanics is added advantage
